DATE:   Nov 6, 2009
TIME:   10:00AM   To   11:00AM

"The Food Chain Guardian Walls"
Urban Farming

The event will take place at The Weingart Center Association, 566 S San Pedro St, in Los Angeles in Council District 14. (Entrance is located at 6th Street courtyard gate, between San Pedro and Crocker.)

This is a dedication event for the CB Grant funded project, "The Food Chain Guardian Walls", which marks the completion of phase two of the Edible Wall project launched in August of last year. The Guardian Walls are beautiful storage containers and panels mounted directly onto the garden walls and provide space for tools and supplies. The Walls also offer acknowledgement to the Food Chain supporters. The Los Angeles Edible Walls are located at four sites in areas of need in and around Downtown/Central City East.
